Google Wave invites

A kind soul invited me and it's awesome! Anybody here with another Google Wave account?

Btw, this might be incredibly useful for bug tracking and stuff in the future. It basically adds a whole new dimension to old systems because you can reply to and edit every post at any time. Still a few bugs in it in Firefox and it doesn't support Opera yet but I love it already.

It's use as instant messenger is somewhat unfamiliar and you have to get used to it but otherwise it has the same awesome functionality as a normal wave.

Sounds like they gave invites to users of Google Code first, makes sense too I guess.

/BulletMagnet is a Google Code user too.

where's my invites to hand out?

I read they were concerned that too many users would saturate the servers they have in place for wave. Imagine every new user would just get 3 invites to hand out. Wave would spread like wildfire and would probably break down because they would just overwhelm the infrastructure they have in place atm. Besides, they want to test wave and you can't do that if there are too many users sending in bug reports.

Yup, my old 19" widescreen isn't cutting it anymore. I just had convinced myself that a 22" TFT might be big enough for me but now I'm thinking 24" again... I just need a good graphic card to go with it.

I watched the Loooooo0ong intro video.... Sure it has some cool features... but I still don't see what all the hype is about. From what I saw, it's just a fancy mix of Google Chat and Gmail with some embedding features.

If i could get one too id love it.

Hmm dont seem to actually of gotten it yet. i would think it would be instant but i even checked my spam its not there yet lol.

I seem to have google wave, but I'm not sure. I don't even know if I have requrested an invite with the new account I made....

Then again, I don't have any friends on that new account :?
