Skyrim. Mass effect became a 3rd person shooter with balance issues (vanguard/adept is useless on higher difficulty) and a tacked-on story rather than a sci-fi rpg like the first. 2 was still a decent game, but if 3 is as transparent in its restrictiveness and piecemeal dlc I'll finally be able to say "**** you" to bioware, of all devs Oh yeah, and super face-palm to kinect dialogue. How is it a good idea to read off a line and hear a completely different line come out of someone else's mouth? I could understand you saying the line and then going to the reply as if you're acting it out as silly a that seems, but what they have here is just laughable redundancy.
Vanguard is actually more useful on higher difficulties because the protection layers stop them from going flying, meaning they eat a lot more of your buckshot.
Unfortunately that also means your charge does no damage to them, you're transported out of cover into the most dangerous area of the map, and all of them are still hanging around after your charge to force you to eat their alien wieners. That and none of your other biotics will work against any enemy until they're in the red, and if they're that far gone what's the point of tossing them around if you can pull the trigger once more and waste 'em. Poor Adept has all those disadvantages plus they have less weapons. Contrast that with infiltrator, who can just strip 'em and rip 'em all day long. Cloak + hack + drain + slowdown while sniping = headshots everywhere.
Probably going to take the day off when this comes out/get my hands out. I really want to see what long term effect my choices had. I hated that my choices barely influenced anything in ME2. :x
