In unrelated news: I'm enjoying a game called Tropico 3 atm. You are ruler of a little tropical island and have to lead your people from the cold war into the new millennium. I loved the original game from 2001 and the new one is almost the same with a few new features. Great soundtrack and tongue-in-cheek humor. Still, for some reason I like the old game better, I believe it was the soundtrack...

Any recommendations from the professionals? I might need a game to kill some time until the 'stuff is coming soon'(tm)-day arrives.

I'm interested in playing Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2, except I don't have a PS3 for Uncharted 2.

There is a side game that has caught my eye. Cities XL. I've always love city builder games and I really feel like SimCity has lost its way.

I love SimCity but I don't want to pay for the online content every month. Too bad really, looked like a very interesting idea. DLC for new buildings and content would have been better IMO. But I guess they were trying to copy WoW.

Modern Warfare 2 is on my list once it is cheaper. I'm not going to pay 60 (USD 90!!!!) for it, that's ridiculous. I'm used to getting screwed by publishers as German customer but there is a limit! Oh look, the sell it for GBP 35 in the UK, that's under USD 60...

I'll buy an older game instead. The Witcher looks interesting.

witcher enhanced edition is quite good. just don't play it on easy or you'll totally ruin the game experience.

We played through Uncharted2 last weekend. It was an amazing game. Soooo pretty!

Yeah i have been wanting to check that game out.

Though of late i have been playing mini ninjas for lack of any other decent games to play lol.

I bought that for my youngest clone, she likes it.

Its interesting, and decently fun.

REALLY want to play Brutal legend, but dont have any the new gen consoles lol.

I also frequent this forum, but don't post much. Work has finally gotten busier. Trying to work on my C++ skills, but just don't have a lot of time lately.
