Thanks for ruining my rep MNC

Yesterday, for the first time, I looked at my rep online. I don't really play a lot of online games, except for MNC and the occasional Madden session. 74% of the people who rated me have chosen to avoid me. 74%!!! I'm not a jerk online, never trash talk or anything like that, and the reasons were because I'm unsporting and aggressive. WTF!? I swear MNC brings out the absolute worst in some people.

I doubt it. Maybe it was the madden. I haven't had my rating change since Gears of War 1. 84 % avoidance rate.

I sometimes avoid players when they're on my team if I see them doing something I consider unsportsmanlike, both to avoid it happening to me but also to avoid it happening while they're on my team. Waiting around outside a base while assualts run around the top ring juiced and supports airstrike the spawn is about as much fun as having it happen to me.

I think people only really use the rating system to avoid people. more than likely you juiced on someone a couple times and they cried foul.

The way I see it is that people are more likely to avoid you than prefer you, if they prefer you, they aren't going to do anything about it but if they are pissed at you they will avoid.

Don't worry about it, I've got 47% avoidance for being unsporting & aggressive :lol:
It usually gets worse after people rage quit after getting raped for a few games.
FuttBuck is spot on so I've started leaving good rep for people & send them GG messages.
You never know - it might just catch on.

Yup MNC ruined my rep too. I think it's one of the easier games to consistently go 50-0 in the right lobbies and really piss people off. Oh and taunting I'm sure doesn't help.

I guess that makes sense that only people you've pissed off give you ratings. I think I'll go out of my way to reverse the trend. I'm only going to go out of my way to rate peeps positively. And I somehow still have 5 stars.

Yeah I don't get that, I have REALLY bad reputation (for absolutely NO reason whatsoever) and I still have five stars. What gives?

I take great pride in my quit early's and vulgarity avoids. Underground is the only zone worth being in.

My rep went to **** after mnc too. 72% avoidance. I dont talk much, certainly dont talk smack (that can come back on u), I do taunt A LOT tho.

I will prefer people that piss me off or talk ****. They may get me with a crappy split, but I want to see them again and again and again, set the record straight. Cant remember the last time I avoided someone.

I don't know my avoidance rate is and I really don't care. If I beat someone, that means that I am better than they are. When they get better, they will beat me. They get better by playing against me. If they avoid me, they will never beat me, so that is their loss, not mine. I will just stomp them every single game if they send me rage mail and that is the end of it. I don't avoid or prefer anyone. Whoever's on is who I play with. If I get put into a game with awful team mates, then I leave, find a new game, and move on. There is no reason to stick around in a bad situation.
