So, I figured since the gold sponsor is a big choice, depending on your class, there should be an extra bonus? Don't hate please, it might be because im new, but I want a little boost. Sniper: Aturba (Accuracy) Has your bullets go faster Assassin: Sprintz Gum (Speed) Makes your jump higher OR Achilles Ocular Implants (Critical Hits) Them eye implants make the enemys stand out! So now enemy pro's glow to make them easier to pick out of a crowd Gunner: Ammo Mule (Clip size) Occasionlly gives you a double clip OR Occasionally leaks some bacon right besides you. OR Total Recoil (Fire Rate) Occasionally shoots 2 bullets at once. Tank: Gobi-Numb (Armor) Occasionally makes you incivable for 2 seconds OR Smedleys Regeneration Bars (Regeneration) Randomly gives you a small heal. Assualt: Spunky (Juice) Randomly gives a juice boost OR Intelliclips (Reload speed) Randomly (on reloads) instantly reloads. Support: Aptilube (Skill recovery) Occasionally will instantly refill your hack. (Or should it be Firebase or Airstrike?) So, these obviously need tweaking. I tried choosing the ones that match the class. (Liberties were taken on the gunner and assualt.) I also tried to keep them under-powered, so theres no huge diffrence.
so should they be bronze? I just thought it'd be a small bonus, plus it adds a big strategic cross-road. Should you make up for your weakness? Or take the mediocore bonus?
It would be interesting to see stuff like that but gold stats are already rather good, depending. I personally find crits pointless as the added damage form them seems to be invisible to me. There is no real reason to not use armour, firerate and speed on most classes unless you want to mix it up or swap one out with skill regen.
I thought this encourages some branching out when it comes to endorsement choice. Instead of buffing up your fire-rate over 9000, it adds some temptation to go with their specialty boost. And yeah, crits are pointless. I think it should chime when you ring a crit, so that you can see a diffrence.
Brilliant idea. But I don't like the idea's where luck plays a mega part. I want it as far away from this game as possible. . The second you rely on luck or RNG in a FPS it's just....no. Sucks! But the whole idea thing is great. But I think the other Endorsements might need a tad twitching for this to be solid because people would just always use them Endorsements and they mine as well just be coded with the class. Lol.
My general reaction. I think class skills and gold level are differentiating enough (did I just make up a word right there?).
What about if you had 2 specific skills, e.g; Gobinumb and Reginitol, you get a 25% overheal at spawn and if you are overhealed, it will only decay to 25%. : Those are Gold Armour and Silver health by the way.
