Here is how. Become support, rake up a couple hundred points and unleash tons and tons of Gap Shots. Also if you want more of where that came from. Buy some mortar turrets. Make sure those Gap Shots are overhealed and have someone to go along make sure they don't die. So throw down your Firebase to help them out, around entrances or under bridges.

This strategy is very cheap and can lead to a early victory.

Played a few rounds with a guy who was doing this, and it didn't work very well at all. Even over-healed, a gapshot just doesn't have enough health to make it's way through alone, and a single gunner or assault would tear his way through the line of them all the way back to the support. After a few waves of jackbots, slims, and gapshots I had juice and steamrolled one side of their base.

This is useful only at the beginning and end of matches.

Very useful for turning the tide in your favor. But wait until you have $800, then spawn one after the other. Over heal if you can, not a must. The enemies base turrets will be wiped out in a matter of minutes, each turret kill nets you more money which nets you more gapshots.

Been using this strat for a few games and has always put the other team back on the heels. It's useful whenever you can pull it off. Keep you turret near you to protect you, while waiting for more cash, hack your teams turrets to help out on D.

It's not very useful if someone is on to you though, I stood a good distance away as an assassin, spawn killing this support's gapshots for some juice and money, lol. $100 spent for nothing except helping the enemy!

It's use varies on how perceptive the enemy is. If they're paying attention to bot flow and base defense, a competent player should know he should go wreck some bots and longshots if their turrets are suddenly dying one after another.

If they're ignorant, or just playing for K/D, then yeah, it'll wreck'em quick.

You can't even choose to spawns only gap shots.
You get gremlins or other stuff.

Spawned bots are class-specific. Supports get gap-shots, assassins get gremlins. It must have happened that an assassin purchased bots just before you.

Also, juiced Tanks will burn down an entire side of a base before getting downed.

    What does sniper get?
    (Please not those-things-that-take-away-skills-but-are-slow-weak-and-useless)

    That's exactly what they get.

Yeah, I find it funny that the Support, who already is pretty versatile, gets the most powerful class-specific bot, while the Sniper, who's probably the least effective class, gets a bot that's basically free money for the other team.

Imo, they should switch the two bots. It would help with the theme, too. A long-ranged character gets a long-ranged bot, while a utility character gets a utility bot.

Gapshots can wreck a base, but they are fragile. If the other team realizes you are spawning them, they will just kill them. A sniper takes them down in 2-3 shots, an assassin carves through them in the blink of an eye. The counter to gapshots is destroying them before they generate money for the support.

I don't really play sniper but I imagine their bots can be pretty decent against Assassins if you've got a lot on the enemy team. It'll drain their stealth and dash, it may even prevent them from using a smoke bomb if it was on the edge of finishing cooldown.

Also yeah if you have someone on the enemy team who knows how potentially dangerous gapshots are, they'll be made pretty useless as they will target them immediately once they know they're around.
