But according to the new Update 8 logic, would not the level 2's prevent any sort of attempt to destroy them with the exception of a well guided, juice lead attack on the turret.

I like most of the changes, i never really liked overtime and i cant stand juice so for me these updates are going in the right direction. The only thing i dont get is the no bot symbol in the lobbies. Obviously it means people wont back out now when teams are stacked but after one game they will so its kind of useless.

Also im sick and tired of hearing what the pc is getting, can we not be kept informed on whats happening with the 360?

^^^ This doesnt mean i want somebody to quote what eka said about updates.

I tried the 360 version on a friends Xbox last night. How on earth do people play this? I expected teams to be a little lax on the actual team-work and turret-building parts, but every game I was in had insufferable lag and extreme framerate drops whenever things got a little hectic (5fps slideshow level-bad). I eventually had to just settle for assassin and start raping bots/turrets, because I simply could not hit anything unless I was using a jet-gun, mini-gun or Mortar. The few times I went for pros, the lag was so bad I couldn't even grapple. One time, I was literally behind a sniper on his own, grappling 3 times and not one of them connected. He then just spun around and grappled me out the arena.

I'll stick to PC in any event!

Don't judge the 360 version based on last night. I had a similar experience. Almost every game I got into was laggier than I'm used to and I usually only lag in like 1/10 lobbies. And yes last night did seem like a pub-stomp heavy night. I can usually leave and find a more relaxed lobby, but not last night. It's usually not THIS bad, Hobo. Last night was probably my first legit "aww f*** this game" night

That being said...who else had fun getting stomped by "Juiced Gunner" last night? Where's Try Hard Tank when you need him?

    Haha, I remember that name. My first game was so annoying though. I went something like 18/x/6 as support, pushed like a boss, healed every dude coming through. As soon as I start build long shots and gap shots to push the advantage, the whole team falls apart and we get pushed on our left lane. ;-;

Thats why a lot of people dont play now until the game is patched.

Um yeah no. Lag is not the reason why players don't play the game.

Also a patch is not going to fix lag.

If the updates for MNC PC were good the community would be thriving.

    TO PURE EVIL:
(because i am too lazy to quote and edit right now)

the all star emblem that is getting removed in pc is not the bot icon we have, that stays. the pc actually has yet another emblem that symbolizes your skill/effectiveness in the game. that is what will be removed.

I believe the bot icons were removed from the PC version around the 3rd or 4th update.

Why? Because Bot icons were removed? Sure that makes sense.

I should keep count of how many times you say it will not get the dlc because I know you'll be getting it day 1 without a question. :D

I've built over 900 Longshots and I've only received 9 kills.

    Kill to Build Ratio: 9:900 = 1:100 = 0.01

    =/

Built and upgraded are in the same counter, and assuming you aren't brain dead, you upgraded them each about 3 times, so it's a .03 ;)

Bot Icons are still very much in the game, and juice is still plenty powerful. I really don't understand what the hell everyone is crying about over this patch (with the marginal exceptions of assassin players).

All of the points about longshot turrets are spot on though.

Just commenting on what I've heard...Since we can't actually play with the patch, there's not much to do..

Is there a setting in the PC version that allows you to turn off being able to buy juice? Wonder how that plays out over nerfing juice.

lol judging off what I heard it sucks. Judging off what I read it looks like they aren't taking the right steps or making the right priorities. It feels more like game change than an update or patch.

I agree that longshots are too fragile and have two low a base fire rate. They don't do enough to make the midfield dangerous.

Really they do serve a part and there is a risk/reward kind of thing going when you have to put longshots close to the front in order to affect other turrets. Right now they seem to serve the part of being among the two turrets that can be taken by juiced assassins at level 2-3 under normal conditions.

That leads to my second point. Assassin juice is especially hurt. Now assault juice is hurt too but the slightly larger heath pool and the stronger ability to attack from a range. makes this easier for them.

The assassins role in juicing in general seems to be reduced to player killing or tackling weakened turrets. Things that the other classes can do much better. I feel that the assassin is hard hit by these changes and something needs to be done.

Don't fear Box community. These changes will go under a number of tweaks before the engine update. Hopefully this trend of more team orientation and more resistance to pub stomping will reach fruition by then.

I believe it will but for now I have a number of gripes.

    ADDITION

If I might say something a server with juice off rewards long lives and classes that build juice fast. Because turrets cannot be taken out as fast overtime is where games will most likely be won. The recent changes (as I've heard) has made no juice servers with longer times much more intense.

I imagine that balance is done with both ideal and non ideal situations in mind.
