Muted myself...Has a fix been found?

Hey guys another one of these. Recently i was playing MNC and somehow muted myself i looked on google and no real fixes. wanted to know if you guys had any sure fire ways to fix this problem

will calling microsoft help me?
i tried clearing cache didnt work so idk.
and i have tried being host multiple games and each time couldnt unmute myself.
and host migrations are kinda uncommon now so im not sure how to fix it played 2 hours today and not 1 host migration so good job on that haha

I am pretty sure several rules of the internet are:
-Everyone is a troll
-Forums don't have rules.
-Moderators don't have rules either.

So, you might as well troll anyway, you have just as good a chance of getting banned as you do behaving.

ON-TOPIC: I think clearing the cache should do it. If it doesn't for some reason or another, you could do "account recovery". The self-mute thing, possibly all your uses of mute, don't transfer if I am not mistaken.

when split screening you can have guest or other profile unmute you during the k/d window at the end of a match. You will however have to go through a whole match while split screening though. worked for my brother.

p.s: bro your possibly the best troll bait I've seen in ages. I know that takes persistence, dedication, coordination, and awesome Street Fighter similes. keep at it....

that was my example of the trollery in this community....Bro neither attacked me personally ever nor gave me problems but here I am, part of the MNC communiy attacking him like a troll because it makes up for my horrible skill in the game. have fun

Clearing your cache does work but you have to be signed out for it to work.

Also unplug the mic just in case when clearing to be on the safe side.

Dont let this ruin the game for you because its a great game thats under appreciated but this big issue needs to be addressed promptly. Im sure its freaking alot of people out (me included).

thanks AJ i will try that now and i know on that it actually doesn't mute you or anything its just really annoying to see and when your in a party you cant tell if your mic is not working ....

edit: nope didn't work i unplugged mic signed out and then cleared cache signed back in still muted so now i deleted my gamer tag and gonna try to recover it maybe that will work but im starting to get sick of this after i fix this im not gonna play this game again not risking getting muted.

same thing happened to me, eventually (maybe 2 weeks) it just unmuted on it's own. not sure how that helps but if nothing you try works there's still a chance it might fix itself.

Also: Have you tried turning it off and on again?
