I was playing yesterday as host tank. I got bacon about 5 minutes into the match. Host tank with bacon is nearly unstoppable, it is amazing. I ended the match with 26-1. My one death was from a gunner right before I got the bacon.

I know what you mean. Whenever I get host, the player movement isn't fluid at all. Don't get me wrong, host is ******* awesome - the jet gun is a viable weapon, headshots actually register with the sniper, etc - but the stutter movement I see when I look at people is kind of annoying.

How do you tell if you're hosting? Can you just tell by the gameplay? Obviously if you leave, it migrates, but how can you tell during the game?

I personally have no idea when I'm hosting, but I can sure tell times when I'm not...grappled out of the air, charge or jet gun doing no damage, etc.

If you jetgun someone and they don't take damage, you're not host.

Also if you're the only one in a lobby you're host. If you create a party and search it will say "connecting" and that means you will be host.

If you're ever sniper and get a headshot and there is no delay for the "ping" when you get the headshot, you're host.

If you upgrade your skills and your character talks, you're HOST.
