they could still very well be on the menu , only time will tell But it would be great move, since every bit of new content increases the games population. look at what it will do when everybody is making custom map and mods
The mod tools were a lie cleverly thought up by Uber to keep us playing their game. Right about now, they are probably rolling around in the money they made laughing about how broken they made the Sniper and have no plans on fixing them. But don't worry, they'll release the mod tools 'eventually'.
They are telling lies on the store page in steam OR they are using Valve time and soon means 3 months. Btw. Reported to Valve and MNC will be removed from steam store entirely (nah, just kidding).
They are a small company that has been incredibly busy. Then again, they haven't said anything about the mod tools since January...
Chillax people. All things in due time. They just released Uncle Tully's funland. A great map. They probably want to wrap things up and ensure that the mod tools are user friendly. And if they're going back on their word about mod tools... big deal, I've gotten my moneys worth/hours out of MNC, and many more to come. Though I do have a few things I'd like to try out with the mod tools.
I'm just waiting on community maps, games got stale for me now If I'm honest, also lack of servers doesn't help.

This statement makes everything else you said irrelevent. Uncle Tully's Funland is an atrocious and horrible map. It's like steel peel, but worse.
there is due time and then there is too late. You preferably want modding tools at the height of a games popularity. Not when people are falling off of it let and right because of the staleness factor.
I've got to agree with you. Uncle Tully's is a unbalanced map. Yes. Because of Chickey Bonus and extremely good places for sentry. (Center map , corners). Map looks good but It miss several Glasses shield near base. Steel Peel is playable until one of the team will start camping with sentries near "windows". And yet unbalanced Mascot run. One time It goes to your base...other time It goes to enemy base...(It should make a circle around center map) Overall. Uncle Tully's is worse than Steel Peel arena. Sorry UberENT.
I don't understand the hate towards Uncle Tully. Its a fun map whether its competitive or not. If there were a competitive scene for this game I'm sure it would be left out of map rotations anyways so whats the harm in a fun, carefree, map?
Super small claustrophobic map in a third person shooter without ability to see through your own character. Yeah.
Shooter was among the first popular video game genres. Many of the fast arcade and console games based on the task of shooting attacking enemies, they were spaceships or potted plants. There were many things that you could shoot in the early days of video games, and it is a tradition that has been proudly maintained throughout the lengthy game development. Nobody minds of the trend, either. Shooters are among the most popular genres of games and they show no signs of slowing up. puzzle bubble

That wasn't a bad spam bot. There was one talking about golf, and didn't fit any correct number of characters in the subject line and stuff. Plus, super rapid posting. At least that one was ballpark. I give it 1 more year, before someone gets tired of waiting and starts servers based on hacked versions, and starts telling people how to crack and re-verify the game's contents to make new content work. Happens in every game eventually.
It's not fun when you get trapped in your base and cannot flank the enemy to try to break out. And with a good team moving quickly you can do this really easily. Assault shuts down the tunnel with some grenading while the support and gunner move into position. gunner sits on top of the glass facing tunnel and mortars down the tunnel while support sets up turret and keeps everyone healthy. Assault switches to covering the jumppads with bombs so noone can sneak up the side way and the gunner can simply turn 90 degrees and throw some mortars down that way too if needed. 1 of the other 3 people goes for the chicken... the other 2 people make sure noone sneaks through and you have just shafted a team. The only thing that the trapped team can do is try kill off bots until an opponent gets juice and wrecks you. It is extremely difficult to break this lock. No map should allow you to get trapped like this. Even Steel Peel doesn't lock you down so completely with so few people. If both teams are equal in skill then the map is great. If 1 team is better then the lesser team may as well quit and save themselves 10 minutes of death because they're not going to get out.
alternatively an assassin can go to the opponents base via either side exit kill every single bot destroy all turrets then use juice to clear out the camped tunnel
