anything. And don't narrow your preferences to dubstep and poser metal (because I despise that stuff). Rock, country, hip hop, j pop, anything.

What kind of rock are you into? You might want to check out "Chevelle" - one of my favorite bands. There new album doesn't really appeal to me that much, but the albums they put out before the latest are really good. Some of the songs that I like more than the others: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trinU3VD1Zo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1qm6T8swIY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOAV2vNI ... re=related The last one has some really heavy riffs; I enjoy every second of that song.
Buckethead, Animals as Leaders, Protest the Hero, Death, Augury, Galneryus, The Contortionist, Son of Aurelius, etc. You know, the good stuff.
Didn't they have that one really famous song that everyone listened to and you could find it on every CoD montage back in the day? (this could be irrelevant to you but idk/c. On-topic: Radiohead (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBH97ma9YiI; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfOa1a8hYP8) ; David Bowie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLnPd7lzT4g; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8sdsW93ThQ); Yeah Yeah Yeahs( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOL-lzVT5Jc) ; Muse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_sBOsh-vyI; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbPA58xJI24; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiHUKVoYbdc; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjm3NyQ6DYw) ; That Handsome Devil (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sqiba2Bkuk; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFerl5DF2lg) ; Neutral Milk Hotel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcgyKo7vbm4; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4avoEbGjYu0) are what I listen to the most. if you want metal: Dillinger escape plan Dying Fetus (idk what you class as 'poser metal' (i'd class it as A7X or chevelle or disturbed but i think that's subjective lol)) awesome music in general: Gorgel Bordello
By god I think you are my new best friend, David Bowie, Muse, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and That Handsome Devil in one post? Hell yes
Of course they are. It's a pretty big thing for some people (me for example). Incidentally, my taste in music is better than yours. Completely unrelated note: If you are a Death fan you need to buy the reissue of TSoP. F*uckin limited (2000 prints) 3 disc edition. If you're not, the same applies, and you are a terrible person.
Don't get me wrong, I feel the same way, I just dont feel like making long statements about it anymore. I don't know, I just though it was interesting to find out so many other people feel the same way I do, and you do.
I don't ever remember it becoming like, "super" popular. There will never be a song that beats "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" when it comes to montage appearances though, god damn. Oh, and if you actually clicked on my links, "The Red" was the first one I listed
If you're a fan of video game tracks I have plenty compiled on my favorites; along with a few YTPMV's. http://www.youtube.com/user/Shrimpchick ... ature=mhum
