You guys have the potential to make this Team Fortress 2 for the console. -You need maps more maps. (I enjoy the bigger ones) -2 unique bots per class? -More unique skills we can load out. As in I'm going to switch out my deploy for this other skill. -Unique costumes for characters. -Make the mini-gun for the gunner less accurate. -Vehicles? Maybe, but that would require maps designated for that and changing gameplay around. -Don't know how but change up Overtime, or add more time to each game. Anymore idea's?
I think he was just trying to say he hopes this game becomes as ubiquitous to console multiplayer community as some other game is to some other platform. That being said, there's a lot of things we had hoped to get in to this game that were cut for development time considerations.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, TF2 is HUGE for PC gamers, and it's kind of a shame that there is really nothing like that for console. If you guys add in some epic content you could have a huge fan base. This game could be the equivalent to what TF2 is on PC, or even better.
I agree that it has potential to do just that but in response to console gamers (or xbox in particular because that's what this is on) not having something like TF2 for PC, Halo?
Not like Halo, TF2 pumps out updates like crazy, it just started off having one weapon per class, now it's 3 weapons per classes thanks to the outfitter update. That game is all about the community, Halo not to much. This game I can envision it being just as involved into it's fanbase. If so and it pulls through this game can make a breakthrough.
Uhm nothing like that for console? Do you know how big the Halo 3 community is? 2 Million people played the beta of halo reach... Only cause you dont like halo or dont play it, it doesnt mean that it isnt the top console shooter. Ok, i dont wanna talk about a other game in this forum. I hope there will be a MNC 2 (maybe even as a full price game)
Having complete control over the distribution method for a game gives a developer a lot of flexibility. This is something our PC centric neighbors benefit from greatly that even first party console developers don't have the luxury of, ultimately someone else has control.
