Tank charge stuns or what?

    Whenever I get charged by a Tank for two seconds I am unable to attack, move, etc.

    Is it supposed to be like that?

    Level 3 charge has a knockdown stun, yes

    that is to say, it has a knockdown, AND a stun. During both of which the tank can be hosing you with the jetgun.

    Totally fair and balanced, imo.

    Brb, Damage drop off with every class minus sniper/assassin. You know, the two most frail classes in the game? And only one of those really has the tools to actually kill a tank, because the other is designed almost wholly around killing turrets/bots?

    Don't get me wrong, I'll still play monday night combat, and still (attempt) to kill every tank I can. I'm merely mentioning that they're one of the most imba classes in the game right now, no matter what anyone says.

    assault just run back/jump and shoot, gunner fly and shoot, support hopefully your firebase will do some damage if not, your probably dead, assassin...SHURIKENS

    Remember, he gets one jet charge per five/seven seconds*, between which he has the slowest foot-speed in the game, the largest hit-box, and no better than a gimpy unscopable sniper rifle with which to try to hit your speedy, wiry little frame. And if his health ever gets low, well, he can't just up and decide to vacate the premises like you can (unless he gets that jet charge back, and again... one boost per seven-ish seconds).

    Yes, if you just move forward and blast away, the Tank will splatter you. This is because the Tank's only really viable option is "move forward and splatter people". Moving backward is not an option for him**. It is for you. Work with that.

    ** Under strictly philosophical conditions. He might have four players standing behind him to take cover behind, but we're talking one-on-one engagements here.

    that doesn't automatically make you right for anything, just drastically lowers your credibility and lets us know you're one of those people who are stubbornly impervious to intelligence.

    What you've never been charged, deathblossom, charged before via a churro?

    Hell the one time I double charged a guy off the map in lazerazor because of a churro. He was not happy at all.

    Not quite the point I had in mind, though I suppose you're right, that statement does kind of turn my credibility into swiss. What little I reckon I have, that is.

    You did nothing but prove my point. Give up ground and pray, is what you're saying, right? Because that's what I'm reading.

    Tank is imba, there's no argument. Sans sniper support plinking away cross-map at the tiny tank head hitbox (which doesn't net a ohk anyhow, though close enough granted), a tank will ALWAYS be able to push a lane in a 1-1 situation. Hell, even some 1-2 situations.

    Except when there is a sniper/assault/tank on the lane.

    Sniper can trap and headshot him (finish off with another one or a bodyshot), assault has an easy time anyway (especially on maps like Grenade III) and with the tank it's just a matter of how good is the other tank?

    Tank is only strong when the enemy is close. Except when he is called Moose.

    Shurikens rape tanks, HARD. They can't move fast enough to evade them without the charge, and if they use that to do so, lunge spin backgrapple time. Also, ejectors are your friend. Tanks aren't exactly an aerial class.

    That's just the sin. Assaults get the grenade launcher for distance and corners and headcrabs for up close. Gunners kill anything that gets near the dual minis and snipers are the definitive heavy counter. The only person I see losing this fight is the support.

    There is no reason to get near a tank when you can kill them before they get to you. If a tank gets the jump on you he deserves the kill, and if you get the jump on him he's usually dead.

    basically this. hate those moments when they're right out of jet gun range. most classes can kill you faster than your rail gun.

    Try to survive when Tank is Charging on you and then he is using ALT. Flamethrower attack = you are dead on 100%
    (Example on Lazorazor, near Annihilator)

    Okay, I would not be close to him in the first place. I think everyone understands this by now that it is their own self-unawareness that gets them tank charged. At least, that's what most of these other guys seem to be saying too.

    Trying to keep a distance and attacks him is hard for me.
    Mostly he use a rush when I want to run. Of course It's possible to escape from his Spin and Rush but being Assault It's hard (the jump + jetpack won't save you everytime)

    i don't have to give up that much ground when i go up against a tank, its not like im running back to my spawn to kill him when he is in mid map, just walk backwards and jump and shoot him, pretty simple, tanks are like a W+m1 pyro (most of the time)
