I've noticed that pretty much the entire pro MNC community is about to shift over to brink. In a lot of cases, the teams are even carrying over. Just wondering - were most of you guys gaming together pre-MNC?
Nope. All pretty much got the game ourselves and I tried to get some of my friends to play but to no success. So I came here.
My friends that got this game with me don't play often anymore. Save one. But we played Cod n Red Dead prior to Mnc.
I got this game and I was alone, then I made friends and got a bunch of friends from other games to buy it. So it's sort of yes and no.
^This I played MW2 before this, and when it got ultra-ridiculous, I was looking for a new game. I was thinking arcade, I always been a fan, so I got all of Summer of Arcade. I was expecting Limbo to be okay and Castlevania and Hydro Thunder to be new games for me to focus on. I had a person or two bug me to try this game, which I only got because it was practically free with the rebade. I found this game great after trying it the first time a month after it released. It had a reliable community, all a better grade of gamer than bullshit CoD players. I am glad I got it, it was a very well designed game, a fresh start away from the UMP45. From there, I left a lot of friends I used to play with (I was good but was raging more than enjoying, and really they didn't seem to mind the bullshit gameplay as much). I kept them on friends in case MW3 looks brighter, but I came to the forums and found players to game with. Also found a few in-game, like GodInABox and Tom and F5 and Bangathon.
