This game desperately needs transparency of stats (bot hp, weapon damage, rate of fire, support overheal, how much damage grapples deal, moneyball/structure hp, endorsement total) Right now, you have to do a lot of reading and research for a $10 game. Even the wiki has somewhat outdated information (or the information is so vague or obvious, that it's useless) And theres almost no numbers, regen time on skills, damage dealt by skills, and the hidden stuff that each skill upgrade does but isn't listed on the buy menu. The way the game is set up now, turns off newbs. You're thrown in with players that have put 100+ hours in and know a lot of info that can only be gained from experience. The tutorial doesn't do a good job as many of the skills in Crossfire are useless in Blitz, or there are way more nuances in its usage. At least, all other MOBA games have a VERY GOOD fanbase or official wiki page with all pertinent stats. You aren't surprised by new mechanics every game until you've spent a good month into the game.
i already asked this in beta, and it not here now, so i guess this is not one of the things they are gonna do or it is not a priority  you can check most of it in the balance ini though, but ofcourse, then you're still wondering about those "other" variables which are supposedly also there, but not in any file we can check
Even if not in-game, there should at the very minimum, be a full disclosure excel sheet on the wiki site.
They(Uber) have already said that they do not want to release any of this info simply because it would become a numbers game and not a "feeling" game. If you want a better answer from the source talk to Scathis (John Comes). As for learning about the game in-game there is the 'How To Play' section.
Even if the numbers were fully disclosed the would still have a rather steep learning curve, and be very twitch and skill based. Disclosing the numbers means people can actually plan informed decisions and strategies, rather than relying on unreliably past experiences that may or may include nerf/buff/fixes. Also it's very difficult to internalize a nerf/buff/fix when you don't know the raw numbers pre-change. You'd again have to spend 20-30 hours getting used to each change. It adds an extra time-sink barrier into decent play. Dota/HoN/LoL all have sites that explain all the stats etc. And it's far from a numbers game. It's all about twitch skill in last hits, denying, and dominating your lane. But if the numbers weren't disclosed, I can ensure you the level of gameplay would be far lower on average. It should be in Uber's interest to raise the skill level of all players. It leads to better games imo, and leads to better and easier balancing for the whole population.
Problem is, MNC IS a numbers game. Not having clear access to this kind of data just makes the entry barrier even harder to breach; older players having a better 'feel' for what everything does while new players can't simply look it up, and can't get the experience themselves as they are being crushed by older players. I'm actually quite disheartened to hear Uber takes this ignorance is bliss stance.
indeed, it's like playing a card game with people, where the higher card beats the lower, but no-one told the other guy(s) that a 2 could beat an ace, now ofc, in a card game, the moment someone who does know that rule, will enforce/use it, and thus the others will know about it, since they'd be like WTF? and ask him WTF?, in this case it's even worse, theres a referee(game) which knows all the rules, tells us what actions we can perform, but doesn't tell us what those actions actually do or any of the other rules concerning when comes what where and how powerfull etc etc etc so ye, giving ppl a game and then not telling them the rules...i indeed think is silly (which i hope to be able to fix once the modtools come out, i hope the "tully" update will has the modtools, that would be so great..)
I could swear i've posted this here before. http://denkirson.xanga.com/738334142/mo ... ht-combat/ Trust the Bros
"I didn't pay very much for this excellent game, and therefore it should be more complete, because it wasn't expensive" Makes total sense.
If the information is factually correct, it's useful... but it's still missing a big portion. Bot/Structure HP and their respective modifiers.
You could also check out my "guide." Link is below my signature. I should add the ability cooldowns though. Will get to it later.
