Let's discuss the likelihood and possible mechanics of a Multi-Team Crossfire. (When I say Multi-Team, think Halo 3) Orange Blue Red Green. It would require more tactics and skill, but it could be really imbalanced. "Dude, let's go! Blue's Moneyball is wide open!" *Rushes to blue, and another team attacks their moneyball.* A completely new kind of map design could fix that, I just don't know what kind. What are you thoughts guys?
It would be three people per team, with a risk of lag if there are too many bots out on the field. Remember that the games maps are small and the models look somewhat simple because of a memory limitation.
Not sure this would work and/or massive headache. There is always the issue on ganging up. Plus there would be armies of bots on the field. Right now bots are dispatched to only another base. Now Multiply that by x2 or x3. Mamma Mia!
I like the idea but it would be hell for the framerate, it suffers sometimes if there is a large scale fight in a 2 team game but in a 4 team game it would be horrendous.
Remove Moneyballs able to be damaged by players, because if thats there, you might aswell just remove all the bots, cause they won't be needed. I like the idea, but idk how practical it is. I mean, 3v3v3v3 wouldn't be very fun (you'll just end up with teams of assassins, or a team of supports defending)
I actually like the idea of having more that 2 teams in a game, but instead of making it a crossfire style match, have it be something else with more players and no bots (team death match) or very few bots (such as escort the VIP or assault/defend).
