Mr Troof's Commentaries: NEWEST: 13-8-1 Offensive Support

I bought into this game with the knowledge that it was a tf2/dota hybrid and was a bit skeptical of how well it would play out. Boy I was in for a surprise. I'm loving this game a ton and since I have a HD PVR I've been recording gameplay and starting to upload commentaries to youtube. The video I currently have up was me when I was very inexperienced playing the assassin, but I'm uploading a 12-1 gameplay of the assassin in a 6 minute match and will continue to upload gameplay using the other classes.

I just wanted to plug the videos here and also thank Uber Entertainment for bringing me a very fun distraction from my more serious MW2 gameplay.

Posted another commentary of assassin, will probably be posting a blitz tutorial or more gameplay today.

Also, I just gotta say, jumping on the walls with smoke bomb was pretty cool.

Thanks! Yeah I missed that grapple horribly and went flying, but it was hilarious when I did it.

I'm always working on tactics like the smoke bomb-wall walking (which is incredibly effective and I recommend all assassins master it) so I can tear more face, so look forward to the skill cap improving as more videos are uploaded.

Love the videos! The quality is very good. How are you liking the HD PVR? Is it simple to use?

Yeah it's foolproof. Only problem is if your using a mac you need to get some additional software since it isn't provided.

The quality on my videos WOULD be 720p but my macbook is so bad that it takes several hours just to upload 360p videos.

If you want some constructive criticism, don't post videos of single kills, it clogs up your channel and makes it harder to find the videos worth watching. If you want to show kills and killstreaks like that, just save them up and do a montage instead of a commentary. Montages are fun to watch and a nice change of pace from a commentary anyway. Other than that your videos are pretty good, just keep mixing it up to keep it fresh.

I didn't intend to post the single kill video, I had thrown it up there because I lost the footage I was going to use that night, and I felt bad not uploading things. I'm not looking at making montages right now (at least doing the editing for them) but I'm certainly saving up good clips for some anyways. That's really sound advice though, so thanks
