JeeSports MNC XBL 6v6 League Begins!

This is a bad stretch of posts....

Yeah, there's obviously not enough interest in this game for competitive play. I thought I was helping out by filling in a hole in this league, but the hole is obviously bigger than just one team, it's more than half the league.

Waste of time, I'm out.

yes i think it's clear that there are like 3-4 real teams.
I small tourney between these teams would probably be more suitable.

the challenge with team based games for competitive play is often that the teams are not stable...

i guess you did not manage to get hold of New Scum?

pvt you can go check that out on jeelounge.com and its not the fact that its team based, its the community, team based games include halo 2 and 3 and they're going pretty strong still. Sorry to say but this community for this game is **** since the last month or so. It had a good run for awhile but died.

Majority of New Scum and Spunky Six still wants to play the tournament. Every team has played at least one game.

I swear don't quit out of a league just as it's starting. Quitting out of a league just because two other teams didn't play their matches makes you seem worse than the no shows.

If you guys don't stick with the league, the community will surely die, but if you give it a bit of faith, good things will come out of it.

I agree with you, but from a stand point of time and coordination it is not worth it for some people if the other team never shows. I know in my life I have to know in advance when the game is so I can make time to be on. Cozy is kind of the same way. Its frustrating to do all that work and then don't get to play. I hope the community doesn't die, but I think the people who signed up for the league and never played are more to fault than the people who don't want to waste thier time waiting around for nothing to happen.

I think there are a few options:

1) New Scum is treated as a bye and the team normally being matched up against receives a win and New Scum gets a loss.

2) My team will most likely be willing to play an extra match each week, so we could give you guys some games to play but New Scum will still take the loss and the team we play gets a win.

3)Typical Knave, you should take command of the Spunky Six for the time being, and find players who could play for you, I'd have no problem with playing on your team if you're down a person or you could get the members of New Scum that were wanting to play but never got a chance.

I do feel the members/leaders of the teams that were listed as registered but disbanded should have notified kira earlier so this might have been avoided.

I agree with you. I have been trying to get on a team since before the league started, and now I am on a team that I fear is no longer going to play.

Just restart the league with 4 teams, problem solved. IMO it's only going to get worse from here. Or do the ladder, that will probably work really well.

I agree. it would have saved many people lots of energy.
That said i guess they did not do it intentionnaly.

We have several dead teams. I think we should just identify them and give a them a default loss for each round.

After the league we can move to the ladder.

I am still willing to play on a team, but cozy has disbanded the Monday Night Leftovers. I think that brings us to three non-playing teams.

Maybe one of you that was on it could take charge and recruit one person.

Don't think just because your leader has left you the team is no more.

See the thing is though Cozy took over a team that disbanded. So it's harder to gather forces then you are making it out to be. Plus we don't want to be "farm animals."

Taking over a falling team is definitely difficlt.
i would suggest getting a new team together.

I am on business trip in malaysia this week and internet connection aint great but checking stuff.

I will create a ladder when i get back ie mid next week.

I'd suggest giving default wins to any teams playing versus the disbamded teams.

Also active teams could can play their matches (first match and return match i.e. 2 x Bo3) ahead of scheduled and report on the relevant match details page.

Back to business: we really have two options guys:
option 1 (recommended):
1. finish the league with the active teams
2. move to a ladder

option 2:
1. delete the league
2. move onto a ladder

any preference?
