I know there was a topic somewhere a while ago where someone thought that support passive 3 was under tuned. I don't play support all that much but I do have an idea for it anyways. What if passive 3 allowed you to overheal your self with the hurt gun by draining enemy hp while at full. I see this as helping to rectify the one big problem with supports, which is their lack of an escape option. This way, It gives them a bit more survivability. Feel free to tear my idea to shreds though!
I suggest they remove the balance nerf... I mean armor nerf - and revert to the patch before that happened.
IMO the turret R3 should be able to overheal you. I don't even buy it anymore because the healing isn't worth it to me. As for the passive, I havent noticed a difference. I still durvive with the same amount of HP from a front grapple sin
i would agree with this but seems to make supports who turtle by their firebase a little too hard to take out
Yeah, the turret-hugger is already a tough thing to deal with. Don't need overhealing thrown in there too
Airstrike one-shots the turret, although admittedly, if the support places it correctly you shouldn't be able to airstrike it. But yeah I think it's a good idea, I don't usually buy that third upgrade anyway, unless we're on Spunky Cola and people are taking cover near my turret.
Passive 3 should give him a miniature Ferrari to drive around in, complete with bicycle horn. *honka honka* SCUZA ME! *WHAM-THUMPTHUMP* UT3 announcer voice: "Vehicular Manslaughter!"
Passive 3 should give him flying attack jetski support. He points a lazor at a target, and a jetski swoops in and shoots it up with twin 4.92 mm cannons. Seriously, everyone pull up a seat around the fireplace, let uncle Tranquilty tell you how to use the support, and his passives, properly. ... First off, the support has a hurt/heal gun, and a shotgun. The HEAL part is the most important of the 3, you can go games without using the other 2 sometimes. Then, he has 3 active skills, firebase turret, hack, and airstrikes. These should NOT be used alone. You should be using your heal on everything that needs it on the field, injured and heavy pros especially. You should maintain your skills on the side. Keep a firebase to help you with bot control, zoning, and fire support for your teammates, while YOU HEAL THEM. Keep the firebase alive if your teammates will be okay without a heal, and keep it alive if it actually is worth saving. Your teammates are more important, your firebase will regenerate. Pick it up if you can before it gets destroyed, but don't make yourself an open target to a nearby enemy gunner. Don't spam airstrikes. Use them on sure targets, or when it will help dispurse a group of enemies so your teammates can better attack them. Never throw a useless airstrike, think about it before you toss. If you do what you are supposed to, help teammates on the field, and push bots, then you should get churros anyway. Use hack sensibly. Firebase pretty much needs it. Shaveices are great when the enemy team is assassins and juicers. Rokkits are great otherwise, try to range them properly to reach the right areas, like the back ledge on spunky or the side tunnel on lazorrazor. Lastly, and most on-topic-ly, The passive should be upgraded once pretty early, so while you are out in the field, your health will regen quickly enough for you to stay leeched to your teammate, and to keep bots alive. You can make bots within range of your passive survive product nades, deathblossoms, quite a few assassin slashes, even sustained sniper fire on pc (you guys are lucky). After you upgrade everything else that is necesary (I upgrade hack, passive, airstrike, firebase, hack, and airstrike if I find I need an extra 1)... THEN you should have some spare cash, and if you don't need to push with gapshots, and you are still on the field, then you can use passive 3 to survive near-death. Only the support and the tank can do this, so they should consider themselves VERY LUCKY. You can even do something wild, and plan to clutch upgrade. If you buy upgrade really quick while you are low on health in a fight, you get free refill and pretty much auto win. Also, with more health you have easier time with assassins, and better time if you don't run armor. It is like paying for an armor endorsement in that case, trading $400 for what is actually a skill/speed/health-regen endorsement because you no longer need armor endorsement instead. TL;DR: Your ideas are all broken as hell. Playing support right, he is already strong. Especially combined with the nerf and the terribad assaults. Also, read my support guide in signature.
