A14U is a newly formed MNC team based in North America. We are looking for a few highly skilled players to join us in competitive and pub play. We've got our own MNC server and we use Ventrilo for communication. We are only recruiting North American players. If you're interested in joining us, you must: 1) Have a good attitude and be willing to take constructive criticism. 2) Have a microphone. Voice communication is essential. 3) Be active. We play almost every night in pubs. 4) Have an average KDR of 3.0+ in pubs (assists taken into consideration). 5) Have working knowledge of all classes and be proficient in at least one class. Main class thus far is Assault. I can learn whatever classes are viable in competitive play and/or what classes a team is lacking. 4) What is your typical KDR in a pub match? Varies. When I find myself against organized and/or high skilled players at worst I'll get is around a 1.2, otherwise it can go from a 3 to 5 KDR, unless it's just a slaughter vs noobs and I go like 17-0, but those are hardly telling matches. 5) Have you had any other competitive gaming experience? Yes! Top-Tier BF2 Player, High-Tier MW2 Player, strong at CS:S/Black Ops/TF2/BC2 but no real competitive experience in those titles. RTS experience, however irrelevant, Top-Tier DotA/HoN Player, Top-Tier BfME player, strong at many others. 6) How often do you normally play MNC a week? At what times do you normally play at? This is almost entirely dependent on how soon I locate a group of people to pub/scrim with. If I find competent players I see myself playing just about every day after I get off work, so weekdays from 5PM Pacific on. My only other gaming commitment is to HoN but that's mostly just casting and not scrimming/matching anymore, so it's flexible. Depends on the team, 1 class can't carry or be incredibly effective unless the other team really have no idea what to do, but generally a 4-5 K if I have someone else to roll with. 5) Have you had any other competitive gaming experience? 2 years of Team Fortress 2 competitive QuakeLive CTF Div2 G.A for 1 year, NS pugs 6) How often do you normally play MNC a week? At what times do you normally play at? I played MNC religiously after it came out because I would go upwards of 50+ kills and -5 deaths but I got caught up with TF2. I am now playing with a friend nonis 5-7 times a week whenever we feel like it.
