as the title. it would help a lot for this game to continue growing and become more competitive if steam stat-tracking is implemented for crossfire stats. should be simple and at least include win/losses, average earnings per round, and average bot kills etc. it would be even better to be able to sort these stats by classes but priority should go to a general stats what do others think about stat-tracking?
I would love to see this make it into the game. I like the fact that I can do it in the likes of Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress 2 (cue "This isn't TF2" comment in 5, 4,3...). I would like to see it for this game too.
THIS ISN'T TF2 Actually, there are a number of things TF2 does that I feel all multiplayer shooters should do. Stat tracking is one of them, amazing voice chat(Uber is working on this), mod support(Also working on it), and team/crits color coded killfeeds. These changes have nothing to do with the game being similar to TF2(I really don't see this), and everything to do with TF2 just got a bunch of things VERY right. Things that have nothing to do with gameplay.
I never really cared for stats I like to know where I might need improvement but for the most part people use stats as a way to flex their e-peen
there's no harm in that as i always hoped that this game will grow big and that might be a sign of the competitive side of MNC expanding the stats information is mostly for competitive play or for people who would like to review their own/ other people's performance, sort of like a reference since they can't be a direct representation of player skill.
I'm mostly just tired of people acting like they're King Shiz because their KDR is over a certain point If they want to set up stats tracking, I won't gripe, I'll just suggest they leave KDR out(they can list kills and deaths, just don't calculate the ratio)
The only stat I would actually be interested in is how my win percentage is. Matches you joined that were already in progress shouldn't be counted though.
Eh, do that and people will just go for a high W/L ratio then do nothing but join in-progress matches to preserve it Now if it excluded games where you joined in the last X minutes of the match, then I could agree
I would like some line graphs to show my progress. On a per-game basis with each stat, damage, healing ,bot kills, assists, turrets built times juiced, and all that other good stuff. I'd like to see what influences my game the most.
W/L would be the most important stat of course, IMO. other stats should be included, but doesn't need too much focus. IF Uber were to implement match-making, the star rating could be used and maybe only include stats in match-made games? that's just an IF, we just need some basic stats atm
