    Armor on assault is needed in a competitive environment. In pubs it is not. Nerf or not nerf, that's how it is.

    Im having fun tearing apart guys that dont use armor on assault, not so hard to charge to get near them, and when i do so = free kill

    Honestly, you get to a point in skill where everyone is a free kill. I don't even pay attention to if they run armor endorsements anymore.

    Yea, you are so cool pubstomping :roll: ... play with real and skilled players and youll see how "epic" you truly are, heh.
    (everyone is a free kill, thats just such a funny sentence....everyone...lol...)

    Fixed the numbers on Charge and Bomb so they fit after the netf.
    If you want to know my opinion, I disagree with this nerf. Assault haves slower charge regen than Tank now, so his versatility is a bit broken, so you better learn how to use your jetpack and bomb jump, also there were more ways how to nerf the bomb. Well it also could been worse, so im not crying at all, i just disagree but i can take it. Im just finding myself in situations i normaly would have my charge but i dont have it, so i take more damage or even die. Also a minor bug showed up, when the match starts i always go out jump and charge to travel pretty long distance, sometimes it makes you travel only 50% of the distance you normaly would.
    PS: The thing i like about this nerf is, that it will show which Assault players are really good, so they stay on the same skill level, and which were just babies and will start to fail <3

    Dude, when people know how to actualy hit you, any endorsments that boosts your firepower or skill recharge are useles cuz you are dead. And its really important for you, to be able to take more damage, im not saying its imposible and someone might profit from it, but you wont be Assault but Turtlassaur with ROF/ACC/CLIP or whatever.
    Ofcourse i saw good assaults without armor, but their gameplay is relying on their teammates, not themselfs, they are also rly limited when damaging the moneyball, i just dont like it, you cant go alone if enemy team haves a good assault, because he will charge to you and rape you, unless you have a friend with you

    That's fair. I just am of the opinion outplaying your opponents is the key rather than having more HP. RoF for example is really important to me at Gold because of how much I use the grenade launcher.

    Completely agree with this.

    And also, Wilder, while I agree that it will make the good stand out from the bad (and I am still averaging a kdr of 10+ post nerf) it shouldn't require extremely skilled players to do a decent job with a class.

    Yes, I play against skilled players, nearly everyone on my friends list is a highly skilled player. That doesn't change the fact that a well aimed bomb will ring out 3/6 classes reliably, it doesn't change the fact that juice still rapes if you can stay outside grapple range/press q while on the ground, and it doesn't change the fact that I often play 3v1 because my team is too busy playing sim city in my base while I push out alone against the entire enemy team.

    Yea, the Assault is ment to be used by new guys, but after this nerf it will be hard for those who will actualy start to play as assault for the first time

    Wilder, you mentioning doing '2000 damage headcrabs' Could you explain a new guy what a "headcrab" is?

    Yes it is, pro=player, headcrabs take some timing, but its an insta kill :)

    Goofing around with a friend we discovered headcrabs are usually lethal, even with Juice
    He was a Gunner with no armor endorsements and I would headcrab him, let him juice then hit the button
    It left him with a sliver of health that was burned off from being on fire
    No idea if Bronze armor would have saved him tho, but I'm guessing Silver/Gold would
