I agree that the Tank is really not that easy to play. Against competent players, you basically have to be sneaky and ambush them with the second slowest class in the game. The Tank is a bag of opposites with strange weaknesses and hidden strengths. Not many people can deal with that effectively.

I hope you're not comparing a new player to an experienced one.
Also, just because they deal higher DPS does not make them automatically better. Something the tank has over the gunner for example is mobility which goes a long way.

    That's why you avoid them...

Back that up. Preferably by talking to Shammas or somebody with experience.

    gotta be assassin.

To play it just right, you need to constantly clear lanes, juice up fast and stick to hit and run tactics without getting caught in needless firefights.

If you do it perfectly, you're team should have no worries about having to kill bots and can easily push and pro kill.

Very rarely have I seen sins do this.

I honestly will never get why everyone says the sin is so hard to play as.

-Cloak. People will say you can hear the sounds of the cloak when she gets close. That's a fact. But that's only when you can hear. If someone's blasting bots and dodging fire, you might miss that sound.

-The liberal Backstab hitbox. If she's just a few inches towards your right or your left, she'll backstab you ever single time even if she's technically in the front.

-She juices faster than almost any other player save for the Support.

-Couple the Juice with her Speed. She can slash you a couple of times, juice, and you really have no way to get away. Or, if she front grapples you, she can just keep pressing forward and slash away.

-Her grapples are still broken. I was in mid air jetpacking and she backgrappled me. I just started, so I had at like 75% fuel left. It never matters where you are, and we had a few sins on the forum admit that they grapple people in mid air.

She's weak, yeah, but no one can catch up with her. The first time I played with her, I switched because there was no challenge.

The cloak is very easy to hear, even if all hell broke loose. Just have to train your ear.

That sentence makes little sense. Are you saying the support gets juice fast? Because that's how you say it and it's wrong.

    Grapple. Not hard.

Which is a bug you can't do anything about.

    Play against good people then.

    By the way, funnies.

Of course you should attack pros when the opportunity presents itself, but most newbie sins go after pros and only pros.

Sniper is my worst class right now because I'm not fast enough with it. Assassin was the toughest class for me to learn from a game mechanic perspective, but now I'm pretty good at it. I think gunner is the most straightforward class, but that doesn't make it easy. I think support has the lowest skill ceiling and sniper has the highest (although I agree with ARS0N1ST that this is partially our individual biological wiring).

You could have heard the cloak through the Japanese tsunami while playing on the beach on a laptop; it is that loud.

Unless you already killed her for being ignorant and trying to attack you. Assassins do still get me on occasion but then again people also win the lottery. It is always while I am busy fighting other pros or I when I have gotten over confident and just standing still pounding a turret.

Fail. Support juices slowest out of every class in normal gameplay. Tank juices the fastest out of any class.

Until you charge her, shotgun her, grapple her and send her flying. Latency is the only way you will lose to her this way. So, it isn't a balance issue but a netcode issue.

Go to that post if you want to know exactly what sins can kill and how many slashes it takes. It is at the bottom in my most recent reply.

Again netcode and luck. I have never had this happen to me since the patch so I call shenanigans.

No reason to catch her. Every class in the game kills her in 1/5 a second or so depending on endorsements aside from another sin. If you don't manage to kill her in that time frame she is gone and no worry to you anymore. If she is dumb enough to try again just make sure you make your ammo count this time.
