More programmers doesn't always mean a faster development process. The more developers work on something the more time they have to invest on documentation and keeping everybody up to speed. You see that in modding teams a lot. At a certain point more time is spend discussing features and progress than on actually implementing them. Pro developers are more focused on their task of course but the same problems emerge.

Got a lot of practice on anything but assassin, because that would be just unfair.

Also another All Time Great and too many Uber Streaks to count.

Got my first Over 9000 (thank you Spunky Cola Gap Spam <3) and had to ban a few people for misbehaviour. The teams were a load of bull most of the time and I came to notice that I still can get extensively mad... which is good, because for most of the time I just get bitter...

I strayed from the free weekend most of the time, so not to scare the new blood or become bored with going Undefeated with an Uber Streak for almost every game.

If anything though, it has brought in a pretty rough crowd from TF2, which is both bad and good. Well anyway, can't say I got much from the weekend, but welcome to the best 15 dollar game on steam; and down the road, one of the best games of the year!

Well, here's how my free weekend went.

Hour 1 - Spent it in Single Player getting comfortable with the basics as well as getting a feel for which class I would favor. Much to my suprise, I settled on Gunner (thought for sure I'd be all over Support).

Hour 2 - Started venturing into a few servers. Still struggled with the interface a bit, but was starting to get a feel for the flow of the game.

Hours 3 to 5 - The Assassin class was really starting to piss me off. I had to shut the game off at one point and nearly uninstalled. But the Gunner's demeaner was starting to grow on me as well as the utter goofyness of the game itself. Started looking for ways to counter the Assassin.

Hours 6 to 7 - Starting to hold my own now, learning a few new nuances but still doing rookie mistakes such as minigunning turrets (yes, facepalm that, I deserve it). Starting to play more with the environment and discovering things like "eject".

Hours 8 to purchase - Assassins are starting to avoid me now as I'm learning to antcipate their approach by sound and counter grapple them out of the arena. Started researching what I should do with my first custom slot.

Still here, still learning, but after 3 days I feel I contribute to the team. I've settled into my groove of a "mobile gunner" using my Mortar as the main weapon - focusing on taking out bot waves and turrets. As long as this game doesn't get all cluttered and stupid like Hat Fortress 2 did, I can see myself playing this game for a very long time. In fact, I think I'll see if I can't get my brother who loved DOTA into this via my guest pass. :D

So what did I get out of the free weekend? A new game brah! LOL

Yeah, Assassins are extremely effective against new or stupid players, often driving the stupid to post "Sin is OP" threads. Against a skillful team, the Assassins effectiveness is drastically cut.

I didn't play much over this weekend because I didn't want to be spoiled by the constant victories, though it was kinda cool to carry a team (for once) as Tank.
