I joined a dedicated server with a friend which didn't have anyone in it and it was already running a game up to round 7594, which pretty much ended as soon as we got in and made us #1-2 on the leaderboards. I then went to another empty super sudden death dedicated server which was on 550, so it seems like the dedicated servers will just start a game and continue rounds when no ones there. We switched to normal sudden death servers and there was no problem with those as it put me into a lobby which shows that it is probbably a bug with just the super mode. Either way along with a fix the leaderboards should be reset, after seeing how many bugged high scores there are. Looking at the leaderboards it seems that quite a few others have been bugged and have gone over 5000.
So that's how those guys get to such ridiculously high levels. I've always been in awe at how people have gone 1000+ rounds on the PC, and then on the forums they just say lol it only took 4 hours etc. :lol: I've encountered the same problem before on a sudden death server where it was round 550 and the game ended shortly after a human's arrival on it. The game should pause the progression of rounds when there's no players around.
Wow, anything 1000+ on Super Sudden Death is just insane. Sudden death is easy though, it just becomes how long you want to play.
Yup, MNC states my high round for Blitz is 2,700. I'm guessing this explains that youtube video with the guy who got 2,800 rounds. In reality I've gotten close to 1,000 on Blitz but have not reached it yet.
I thought it was just super sudden death but it was actually in the normal sudden death blitz as well, but sweet to know that it's already a known problem and is getting fixed already
