http://kotaku.com/5611553/monday-night- ... e=true&s=i they seem impressed, and very confidant that uber will release more maps, which makes me happy indeed.
Geez, took them long enough, this is the only review I was waiting to see. EDIT: "Strategy and turret maintenance is often abandoned for running, gunning, sniping and assassinating, which is how things usually break down in competitive multiplayer." He just basically described the features of Halo Reach's multiplayer. This dude doesn't know what he's talking about.
He implied that Crossfire was TDM. I posted a comment on his review, waiting for approval. I still can't believe he said Strategy is abandoned. He dun goofed.
no it's true, most noob players dont do anything about the base and just upgrade their skills. of course we all know if you do that your gonna lose.
He is describing the simple truth in all online games. When you "pub it up" with randoms the game very often devolves into team deathmatch. That's the way of all team based games. It just happens. It's not a knock on the game at all, but the typical human psyche of the online gamer. So seriously, stop acting like it's a negative on the game itself. He didn't "imply crossfire was tdm." You're reading it wrong. And can we all please leave this 4chan meme bullshit on 4chan? Or do you guys like wearing a badge of unoriginality on your sleeve?
He isn't saying that strategy is abandoned as an intentional part of the game, he's commenting on how most players end up treating the game like TDM and just go around killing. I'd say that's pretty true at this stage of the game with mostly everyone still being new and getting used to it.
I really liked this review also! (and yes the beginning is weird) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51wsyUy5bKw (Video by AngryJoeShow) A very cool quote from this review is "Even when i had way more deaths than kills i was still having fun!".
