Actually his point proves much more than yours, since when was the quantity of people complaining more valid than the quality of complaints? Which has been lackluster at best.

To be honest maybe people would be more willing to listen to you if you took the time to not be a ****. Rather than coming in with a fatalist attitude claiming the sprintz branded sky is falling and blaming everyone in the forums for it, maybe you could comport yourself with at least slightly more class and discuss it like a god damn adult. Making passive aggressive quips is not going to solve anything, whether there's a problem or not. The sheer quantity of people in this forum that absolutely refuse to use real words and think about what they're saying is beginning to make me want to quit the game just so I don't have to come here and see their unending garbled and terribly structured complaints and hate posts. These threads are filled with the same few people every time, and it tires me.

The game is not dying. I boot it up and I still have tons of servers to choose from. There are no obvious imbalances, there don't seem to be any broken mechanics(save the air grapple, which is fixed in the next patch), and there is not a huge drove of people currently forsaking the game. When I bought this I did not expect it to reach Call of Duty numbers(god forbid, most game communities that size reach a fever pitch of internal turmoil), nor TF2 numbers(again, god forbid; the complainers in that game slowly chipped everything fun away from it). The new update will bring more, and bring some back.

The bottom line is people like you claiming the game is dead and it's not worth playing any more are doing more damage to this game's community than any mechanic ever will.

I can't even fathom what numbers, facts, or in fact reasonable dialogue you're talking about. The steam forums is not exactly a place where people discuss things reasonably. Pretty much every halfway competitive game with a section in the steam forums is filled with these kinds of people. Do you know how long the TF2 forums in there whined and complained about how the game was dead? How they're probably still doing it now, as the game continues on strong? How their complaints and the caving in to such were the largest contributors to the eventual degeneration of the game's core mechanics?

The fact of the matter is these complaints are going to exist regardless of their grounds in reality. They are disregarded with good reason; they have no proof, no grounds in reality, and no point. The posters almost invariably type like you, insult and attempt to discredit anyone who even begins to disagree with them by calling them elitist or an idiot, and generally have no argument to back themselves up. Until people who actually bother to spell and look into why things might be the way they are and the scope of their proposed changes I'm not going to take any posts like this as anything but trolling.

atm Farming Simulator 2011 is having a higher player base then MNC

i would almost say that uber needs to make this game free and ( your all gonna shoot me for this ) do it the L.O.L way ( league of legends )

by selling in-game items

to atleast get a population running if things get any worse

I don't mean to interrupt you but Farming Simulator is actually a rather good game.

Shooters and microtransactions Do Not Mix. Trust me, I've played some of those types of games and the balance issues are even worse as the clear advantage generally goes to the paying customer.

Pretty soon it becomes "who has the most money" instead of the actual game itself.

Ok well what if I point out that MNC is losing to the DEMO version of Mafia 2? America's Army 3, The Original Half Life, The Magicka DEMO, and Worm's Reloaded are also all beating MNC on the charts currently.

Worms and Magicka are great.

This doesn't really say anything to me other than people have terrible taste in games. And like free things.
