I've been trying to play this game but I just can't, the lag is just too much. My last game was just awful, I was playing against the 1st guy on the leaderboards, ChaosFF7 or something. I thought "Great! Now I can see how a really good player plays!" and that's what I did, but you see, I couldn't fight back. He has host, probably most of the time he plays he has host. Yea... so he had host, that's not so strange, but the strange thing is that he lives in Canada, and I live in Sweden. Why the hell was I set up with a host on another continent?! There must be at least one host in Europe who has a space for me. I really, really, really love this game but I can't play it because I keep dying from lag and stupid matchmaking. It sucks that I can't play the game I like because every time I try to play I get set up with a North American host and get a 0,5 sec delay on everything I do.
I live in the UK & have better games against players in the US & Canada than I do against players in the EU. I don't know how their internet compares to ours but I've played against a couple of Swedish players & had the laggiest games ever. Not fun - especially when they head-shot me over a second after I lose LOS. I know I'm not being much help so how about other EU forum members start FR you after reading this & it might sort out your problem. Is Vike113 your GT?
I guess I can try to join some EU friends who play MNC but if they only get American hosts too then it won't solve the problem. Yea Vike113 is my GT, but I don't have a mic. I don't know if it's my connection that gives me a lot of lag but I just think it's strange that I get connected to hosts so far away.
Nooooo.... Maybe I'm wrong but it feels like there should be at least a few EU games going. And even if it won't be enough to have an open spot all the time I'd like the option to filter out non-EU hosts even if it increases search time.
