    Nimzo’s Cash Pot 1v1 Tournament – April 4th at 18:00 UTC

After the smashing success of the Able Gamers 2020 charity tournament, which raised over $6000 dollars, it’s once again time for competitive 1v1 tournaments to return. Instead of pay to win, this tournament will be win to get paid, with a $100 dollar cash prize for the victor generously sponsored by maxx. With money on the line, we’re sure to see familiar faces rear their heads and wild plays make appearances as our contenders vie for the cash pot. Only the most consistent and skilled of players will make it to the final rounds, but only the sole champion will be awarded the prize, so stakes are very high. Even with juggernauts in the mix, this tournament is open to all skill levels, and PA tournaments are no strangers to upsets by underdogs, so everyone is welcome and encouraged to enter this tourney and have some fun along the way.

Format: Double Elimination Tourney (no bronze)

    Date/Time: April 4th at 18:00 UTC

    Expected Run Time: 3-4 hours

    Required Mods: Super Stats

Possible Maps: District, Bulkhead, Hopper, Lugaan, Tartarus, Geonosis, The Marne, Gargantuan LE, and Niflhel. ADDED MAPS: The Ardennes, Rotunda, Hyde, Forge, and Amplus.

Sign-Ups: Sign ups are located here in the official PA Discord in the #1v1-tournament-signup channel. Sign-ups will stop 1 hour before the tournament starts. Please sign up in the following format:

[IN-GAME DISPLAY NAME] – [DISCORD TAG]

Check-ins will begin 30 minutes before the start of the tournament.

Pay-Out: The sponsor of the tourney has specified that the prize will be disbursed via PayPal. Players should ensure that they have a PayPal account so that the prize money can be transferred to their account if they win.

For those of you who will not be able to participate in this tournament, don’t miss out on the action! There will be a livecast of select games commentated by yours truly on my Twitch channel so be sure to tune in.

Edit: Due to network issues on my end, Broom has generously taken over the cast https://www.twitch.tv/planetaryannhilationguide.
