We need more active content on steam discussions. If you are a mod or map maker please also create a discussion on steam in addition to your mod forums post: http://steamcommunity.com/app/386070/discussions/ (Titans) http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/ (if you also support classic PA) Prefix convention is currently: [MOD] [MAPS] Please link back to your mod uber forums post... we want active players in the Uber forums. Any YouTube videos will be automatically embedded. Similar to the mod forums...for each update please post a new comment with changes then update your original post. Take a look at Queller to see what @Quitch does: http://steamcommunity.com/app/386070/discussions/0/520518688945149058/ Steam is the first point of contact for many new PA players.
@andreasgg @grandhomie @w33dkingca Please consider posting about your map packs on steam discussions. For examples take a look at the posts by @Quitch (AI / GW mods), @lulamae (skybox mods) and @sardaukar666 (Planetary Extinction League). Classic steam discussions especially need new content.
I created a post on both forums: http://steamcommunity.com/app/386070/discussions/0/1694914736009009486/ I included a link to an imgur album with some screenshots:
How does one get their own mod into the community mods available in-game? I've created a thread here, and linked it with my discussion post on steam. On my thread, my mod's zip is downloadable.
I made a map recently. It's a single map. How would I go about publishing it, besides direct download? Is there any support for SharedSystems or CommunityMods for individual-maps?
Same way you'd publish any other mod (see link above). Alternatively you can upload the PAS somewhere and have people import it, but I'd advise going to the Community Mods route for visibility and convenience.
