Recently decided to give PA another go so installed the launcher and upon opening the entire launcher is bright pink. Any thoughts?
Interested in what the microphone and circle icons are on your pink image are about as they are not part of the launcher image.
Try disabling the overlay... Pa is a bit of a pain when it comes to overlays, they can cause all kinds of weird problems .. Also it is possible to launch the game directly, you just need to browse to the install folder, stable, and run "pa. Exe"... You can login from within the game assuming your are up to date . If the issue is purely the launcher I believe there are some alternatives available built by the community (@DeathByDenim made one for example)...

You can find it in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Uber Entertainment\UberLauncher" (just copy-paste that in the location bar in File Explorer).
Came here because I was having the same problem but I was able to resolve it by running the launcher with my integrated intel graphics rather than my nvidia card. Seems to be a driver/card issue.
I have a NVIDIA card and the launcher works fine for me. Although I normally use a shortcut to launch PA.exe directly. You may have a corrupted driver. I have found that a clean installation of your GPU driver after running DDU using the procedure recommended by the developer. http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html has clear up several performance oddities over the years.
