Is it just me or does it seem like there are too many damn supports running around with level 3 airstrike, and gold skill regen endorsement? Whats up with that!! i just had to rage somewhere about this... 16 - 0 and random airstrike marker from below me blows me to giblets

its actually pretty good right now. airstrikes on gold skill regen still regen slower than assault bombs with no regen

This is the only thread I've ever seen complaining about the Airstrike. And it was made a few months after the nerf.

    Wow.

I understand that its CD been nerfed, but its just so irritating getting instantly killed, sometimes without warning, and when there are 3-5 supports on the enemy team, that is a LOT of airstrike beacons being tossed around

Airstrikes are the most avoidable attack in the entire game. Fact.

Turn up your headset (or TV)!

    They're very easy to avoid.

    Oh.

A little bit of situational awareness always helps. Good Supports will throw beacons behind you in the hope that you'll run into them, so watch your step carefully when you hear that distinctive noise.

You can assault charge at the right time to avoid it

Supports are currently the noob's go-to class. It was the Assault then Assassin, now it's Support.. and most of them really really suck at it. I haven't played Support when playing pubs for awhile now because there is almost always 2 or 3 of them every game... and they never do their job correctly. Most the time they just cowar in the base overhealing 24/7. Airstrikes aren't the problem, the # of players is... it'll eventually pan out and they'll move back to the Assault or Assassin.

    This also. Heavily ironic.

Technically speaking, you get a few seconds to dodge the affections of the Airstike before it sticks itself to your face at high velocity.

I still think Assault bombs are X10 worse. He gets them quickly, so plenty of chances to stick you. Dash up to your face, throw, stick. Once you're stuck...
At least you can run under cover for the air strike. :geek:

Also, give it time OP. You'll learn that Airstrikes are quite easy to dodge if you are aware of your surroundings. Speakers help too. ;)
