Hello Everyone, So I have been playing PA: Titans for about a week now (played PA classic way back) and I really feel like people like the game, but it is kind of dead in terms of the community. So I am reaching out to anyone on here who might be interested in what I am about to say. I am going to be starting a YouTube Channel called PA: Titans Community. The idea around it will be that I will obviously be recording games, whether they be with real people or with bots, and uploading them. But what I would like to do is have Live Streams every Friday with different people and every now and then with different playing rules (example: You can only use tanks, or no orbital allowed, etc.). I would like to bring people from the Community and even the Youtube Community to come and play matches. I even am setting up a Discord Server so people can easily find people to play or join others for the Live Stream (or just playing in general). Also to bring the community that may not own the game, I would like to have things that they can participate or see happen. We could have a System Suggestion Day where the Youtube Community gives a suggestion for a system and then I will make it and then we get some people on a Friday to come together to play it. Another way to get new players into PA: Titans would be to have give aways of the game (especially if there is a steam sale). If anything it would bring the people who do play this game together so we can have fun and even play some epic 10 player matches. I have a requirement, though, I want the channel and Discord server to be clean. That means no language and keeping it appropriate that way everyone of any age can come and join. If this sounds interesting to anyone please let me know. If you have a mic that would be great! Cmdr_Firezone38
Haha, I like you already! I am going to assume you read the post, but if not. I am wanting to build a community of new and return and existing players. I was wondering if anyone would like to help or be a part of it.
There is already a discord setup... talk to @Quitch and work with them. https://exodusesports.com/news/pa-community-centre-voice-chat-pa/
There are already two discords, one maintained by @andreasgg and the other by @mwreynolds and neither is particularly big so 'overcrowding' isn't an issue.
I think having yet another Discord would be distinctly unhelpful. I'd strongly recommend instead pointing people to the same one that is linked from Community Chat, the PA Community Centre.
I had set it up before PA community centre, i haven't deleted it yet since some people seem to use it, i also set it so you can find it on, https://www.discordservers.com/ I mostly use the PA Community Centre. I put a link on my discord for it, seems to have got lost, added a new one. Maybe i should change my signature link to https://exodusesports.com/news/pa-community-centre-voice-chat-pa/ Ideally it would be nice to have link for the PA Community Centre discord either on the main PA page or somewhere visible on PA chat. PA is so much better using voice chat.
