I find it strange that you expected this thread to turn into a flame war, even though you're a PC user. Everyone knows that the MNC PC gamers are much more polite and dignified.

I see myself as verbose rather than anal.

That meaning is applicable only when referring to a single person, e.g. "my good fellow". The manner in which you used the word "fellow" implied the definition I provided, as in "my fellow Americans".
