is PA dead?

Just something random. I find it amusing that there is thread titled "Is PA Dead?" on the PA forums that is still going strong, for this amount of time.

Anyone else see the irony in this or is it just me?

The PA community is sputtering along, its not going strong. Check out the forums for The Endless (Endless Legend, Space, Dungeons) those forums are alive, and growing. These forums are.......Medic........."Dam it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a rabid fan boy"

Preaching to the converted. I think the 10 people talking about this are the only ones that play the game.

Ah the forum has died a little. Now I just have 1/2 unread threads when I log in as opposed to a couple of pages of them before. But as someone mentioned, there is not much to talk about these days since uber are concentrating their attention elsewhere. I spend more time in unrelated and support forums than the Titans one these days.

More active community people play PA titans, like how most people play forged alliance instead of supreme commander. This is to be expected and therefore the titans forum is mostly used, but yeah the forums have got quite, but as others have said Uber is not really actively developing the game right now.

and 20,000 player in the last two weeks for PA Titans.

I'm not saying the game has a huge following, but it dose have a player base and you can get games easy enough.

Nice try, it looks good, until you understand what it means. PA Owners: 1,137,553 ± 27,233, in 2 weeks over 14k log in to play a game, that's over 1k per day, with and average of 167 per hour. A little over 1.4 percent; of PA owners play the game. And those numbers make you happy, they make me sad, I want to cry.....I always cry at funerals.

ufarax, is there a single rts on steam that could be considered alive by your standards? I don't think the answer is yes.

It isn't dead by a long shot, but what would it matter if it was? Plenty of great games are "dead" and plenty of terrible games are popular. I don't base my own enjoyment that I get in a game on how many other people do or do not like it.

Admit it! Just a dozen or so forums posts per month on average clearly is a sign that a person is actually dead.
