Freeze

Hi,

I just bought the game and everytime I tried to change the settings, the game freezed and I had to force-close it.

I downloaded it again, turned off my firewall and now, after 5 seconds, the game freeze, the music keeps playing but I can't do anything, everything is freeze.

I am on a Windows 10 PC, GTX970, 16Gb RAM, i5-4690K and everything is up to date.

Yeah, there's not much to go on. The logs don't contain anything out of the ordinary that I can see.
I wonder if you can try the clean boot option that is mentioned at the end of the incompatible software page?

Another thing to try is playing in windowed mode instead of full screen. And try making the window about half the size of your monitor.

There is also some general maintenance you can try, but I don't know if it will have any effect. Such as:

Where is the config file so I can launch it in windowed mode?

The cache files has been cleaned.

It seems that the game is launching correctly now, don't know why but it works...

There is no config file (well, not a human-readable one anyway), but you can use <Alt>+<Enter> to switch between windowed and full screen (I think).

Verifying your game cache may have well done the trick as it verifies your files. Corrupted or missing files are automatically fixed by that.
