I recently opened a discussion on steam about issues I was having with in-game Music and Voice-over. I get next to no music playing in-game and barely hear the Voice over, like "Enemy commander detected" I was instructed to create a discussion here and post my DxDiag and a log so they should be uploaded in this post. (I have not posted here before, I'm not familiar with this site) Ever since I updated PA:T I no longer get in game music and voice over and was wondering if this was actually intended or not, I verified my game cache and re-installed the game - Didn't fix it Thanks for your time
Can you please post a screen shot of settings > audio and do you hear any audio when watching the intro? bottom left of start menu > view intro
I hear Audio perfectly fine in the intro and the screenshot is attached, This is why I'm confused, I checked the settings and they are all 100%. Just to be clear, I hear sound effects, one song at the start after I drop my commander and then I only hear sound effects after that. I don't even get victory or defeat songs after battle
Wow, your a genius. all my sound is now working normal, just like that. thank you so much for all your help, and sorry for posting this in the general discussions section instead of support (I figured out that's where i should've posted) So for anyone else that comes across this issue, launching PA:T directly by clicking the .exe in your installation folder works, I did NOT have steam open and the game still launched no problem and all sounds are back to normal. This will be good for a temporary fix, but it does appear as if this is a bug, as I tried the two single player modes and both, while in, game returned no music and voice over while in-game. It does appear that this has happened to other people on steam as well. Anyway, thanks for your help
