Yes, this is a thing and I have made a couple of 1v1 maps in recent streams on my twitch. Once I am happy that the maps are 'ready' I will post more information about them here. I hope to have 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3-5v5 maps as well as some FFAs. Possibly some asymmetrical maps in there too to make things more interesting.
I will also include maps in this pack that others have made in the past which are difficult to obtain such as Fields of Isis. I will credit the original maker in these cases.

I can add those in sure, but there is a cube map that i do not have however. I'll post pictures when i am happy that maps are in a relatively polished state. That is of course unless you'd prefer me to post them anyway because you intend to give feedback on them here?
Cratered - Larger SHARED team games 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5. You COULD do 1v1 but the planet is 700 radius. Deep craters are not pathable! (First pass)
@wpmarshall Are you planing on making or have you made a map with lots of choke points? I would really like to see a map where your forced to fight and plan your tactics around choke points. Edit.. Like the Tandem map but with more choke points.. Double Edit.. Something like "Core Prime Industrial" from TA
Perhaps something like Cratered but smaller radius would do that? But certainly yes, I enjoy making maps that try to force expansion and conflict over certain features of the map. I haven't played TA so I wouldn't know the map
This is Core Prime Industrial, I liked the thin section where the landmass is only wide enough to let a few units side by side through. It really slowed the pace of the battle in the middle and everyone usually turtle'd the sides forcing middle map battles of smaller unit groups. I think that kind of map design would go well with a map low in metal deposit's, if players are starved of metal a bit then they might focus on choke point strategy instead of unit spam.
There are a lot of talented map makers. Dealing with the system designer and related mods is a true testament of intestinal fortitude. The map makers promote their creations and solicit feedback. Wouldn't it be great if PA Stats on the Extra tab listed the top 20 maps (most played) for the week? Maybe top 100 since Titans? I'm thinking it would have to be maps available on PAMM, not the random system generated ones. Must be the wine and warm Spring weather. Back to the next thread... The Shipyards @maxpowerz 1v1 or games with 2 teams. My first attempt at a map designed around chokepoints. I have other ideas for maps more akin to Core Prime Industrial. But for the time being I give you one inspired by some of the SupCom 2 maps.
Hey Marshii. You asked me how you can invert csg in direct edit so I looked it up. Read the planet in direct edit and select the csg you want to invert you'll get a box with info and in there is a tab called tools. In the drop down box you'll select the invert option and after that make sure to press apply. After that write the change and go back to the planet with that changed CSG. Now you'll notice that it looks weird. see pic below You can fix that by selecting the CSG button again. It should look fixed in CSG edit mode and when you go out of that mode it should be correctly inverted. Couple of drawbacks. When you change position the CSG won't be inverted anymore. So you'll have to place em correctly before you invert em. And the biggest drawback is that units shoot over other units when both are placed into this inverted CSG. Its the main reason that I'm not doing this anymore. Hope it helpful. Oh yeah and props for the maps! I like em a lot and I don't really have much feedback about them yet. Will let you know when I do!
