Hey you super assassins, what kind of k/d numbers do you end up with after a typical crossfire match?

I play mostly assassin and gunner, and when I'm rocking gunner I get upwards of 2 times as many kills as deaths, something along the lines of 26 kills and 10 deaths or so. However, on assassin, I get about 12 and 10. Also, with gunner I get many more bot kills and therefore money: 40-50 or so as opposed to 5-10ish on assassin.

So, am I just a terribad assassin and need to stick with gunner? Am I doing something terribly, terribly wrong with my assassin playstyle?

Admittedly, I spend a fair bit of assassin time chilling out in the enemy team's base waiting for my cloak to recharge and hoping no one walks around the corner.

Be unpredictable, play safe, use smoke bombs and master using RB to dash and grapple. Also gremlins are good for getting assists, spawn them sometimes.

Assassins are tricky. People just go with their namesake ability to instantly kill people and therefore become predictable free kills on legs but to be honest, your sword and a L3 ROF endorsement will let you slice up bots like mad and your shuri gun is effective and harassing turrets. Spawn Gremlins when you have money to spare, when you have enough on the field they may just start earning you more then you spend.

I use a lot of gremlin. A lot. I keep everything at level 2 except katana because skill recovery is so damn good. Rest of my money goes to gremlins/turrets. If i have a lot of money (which I do from kills, bot farming, gremlin kills), then I upgrade my other stats.

I can pull a 5-1 kd most of the time as assassin without spawning gremlins or turrets. I just play hit and run and destroy enemy turrets and bots to help my team out. It's all about hit and run and mastering your abilities.

Thanks for the tips guys. :D

I just watched your videos on the youtube. I really like the standing on walls thing, I'll have to do that.

And I'm going to assume you mean a ratio of 5 to 1 instead of five kills and one death.

Yeah I meant a ratio not an overall score

Another good idea: Put gold armor as an endorsement, it helps ALOT. Saves you from front grapples and great for going into a base and killing someone, without dieing in 2 seconds from their turrets.

You're not bad man, you're getting positive k/d spreads!

I mostly play assassin and gunner as well, and when I'm assassin I'm usually about 2/1 on a normal match, but sometimes as high as 14/1 (that's my highest lol), and about in the middle of the pack money-wise. But with gremlins I'll get up to 30 assists a match as well.

As gunner though, I'll typically be 3/1 or 4/1 most matches. And I'll ALWAYS make the most amount of money on the team.

Granted, most of the guys who bother to post on the official forums about a game are probably ahead of the pack skill-wise, but it's becoming pretty normal to see more kills and money as a gunner, unless you decide to spawn gremlins.
