Random *world* or (map) generator

Hello guys!

There is any chance for this game to get a random map generator ? Or the game is already abandoned by developers?

There is a mod on PAMM it's called Awesome system generator it is pretty good

I thought there was a button to do that in the custom game lobby?

But that button only random from your completed systems or not ? As i know it don't create new systems.

No, it actually creates real random systems. It doesn't randomly select from a list of already created systems.

The awesome system generator mod that people have mentioned is really cool though as it allows you to set a lot of more options for the random systems, like number of planets and sizes and such.
