For me as a participator I think they are too frequent and thats why I don't participate in all of them, but as long as there are 18 players signing up I don't think there is a issue People seem to like it and do come back. Based on that I feel the clopses comes with absolutely perfect timing. No major loss in player count from edition to edition, like we unfortunately are used to. With the new rock solid map pack I think people are looking forward to some fun games with new challenges Me myself is gonna enjoy 30C and sun on the beach in Thailand, so I hope there are some videos on the event that I can watch later.
