I can load 1v1 games without issue, but if I try to join a multiplayer game, PA just crashes. Attached DXDiag
First, could you check the list of software known to interfere with PA? The list is here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/558751813508748383/ If that doesn't work, could you try increasing the amount of virtual memory? It's a tad on the low side, and since 1v1 games tend to be smaller than multiplayer games, you might only notice it with those larger games. Instructions are here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-virtual-memory-size#1TC=windows-7 Try to make it at least 16GB or so.
Thanks, Denim! I'll up the virtual memory and see what happens. This only started happening yesterday and it seems to coincide with the windows update. Not sure if that has any impact, but I could always back out the updates, too. I don't have any other applications installed aside from Firefox and Chrome. I'll post a reply later tonight once I make the changes. jerle
Turns out this was an issue with a Windows Update. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3124262 Once I removed the update, I was able to start playing multiplayer games again. Not sure where the conflict is. I'll reinstall the update later and see if it still crashes. It might have just been a sloppy install of the update. I attached the logs.
Finished complete reinstall of PA. Seems to be working fine. I'll wait before I add any mods or the Windows Update.
