PA was DRM free, yes? And so is the case with PA:T. I assume, yes? But i can't find it on uber store, it's only available on steam. Why did uber change their decisions on the game availability?
Even the steam version is drm free... Just launch the game from pa.exe directly and no log in required for single player I believe. Also, anyone who has base pa, can upgrade it in game through the armoury if you don't want to use steam.
As cdrkf said you can upgrade it in the armoury. If you have PA directly from Uber you can just buy it in the armoury and PA is then automatically upgraded to PA: Titans. If you do have a steam version of PA you must lunch it with PA.exe, login with your user data for Playfab and then go to armoury and not through steam or it will just throw you to the steam page of PA: Titans.
You can buy Titans over the ingame Armory, that's basically the same as the Uber store. For some reason titans isn't in the latter, maybe it wasn't worth it. Mind no matter where you get the game, Uber or Steam, you need to log in for updates. Btw, there is a bit of an irony that nowadays our 'drm-free' games still need accounts to update, isn't there? That's at least for continuously developed/updated games like PA, Kerbal Space Program or the Witcher 3. DRM-free isn't not an empty phrase tho: The piece of software you download is drm-free and freely movable (starting over the executable, not the steam launcher).
Yup DRM free, if you play the original game DRM free you should look for the update in the armory tab. If you play via steam you can purchase the Titans expansion there If you don't own PA yet, you should look for it on steam, humble bundle and a bunch of other sites that sell it!
PA has been drm free since oktober 2014 one month after its launch .. if you play with the uberlauncher there is a big "play offline" button ... otherwise just start the stable.exe
