This may be complaining so be sure to disagree. We bought a game. But now for new stuff we need to pay more. Thats a cashgrab. Theyre giving up on the original i mean LOOK AT THIS QUOTE "Yes. TITANS and Planetary Annihilation make use of the same engine, so any improvements we make there will go into both games, but any new content that might show up in updates will be focused on TITANS. So performance and stability will continue to improve on Planetary Annihilation, but if you want all the shiny new stuff you'll want to pick up TITANS." Also the majority of people now play titans making it almost impossible to play with any1 in the original. What should have happened is that all PA players had gotten this for free. Im still buying it, gotta get the shiny stuff!
The original benefits from all of the engine improvements and bugfixes, and will continue to do so as far as I'm aware
I'm just annoyed with the whole some got it for free yet others paid for it. Either all or nothing with me. Unfair. Some people paid for the 760 and then got the gtx980. PS. I got it for free and bought one so I'm not butt hurt but I like fair.
See I don't view it as unfair, the option of everyone gets it free is nice but obviously not fiscally viable. Giving it free to the oldest supporters makes sense and was a nice gesture. It certainly wasn't intended to upset anyone imo, though with hindsight perhaps not as well planned out as it could have been.
Why should we care about some people getting it for free? If uber wants to send copies of their game to their friends or even to a totally random list of people what does it matter to us? This argument is pure envy, and essentially admits as much. If you don't like the price some have to pay argue on that basis, don't begrudge a nice gesture to those who received it. This is worse then the trolls because at least they have deluded themselves into thinking they were actually owed what they didn't get. This makes no claim to being owed anything and asks purely for harm to be done to those who got more then you by the generosity of the people you criticize for it.
I have read it in fact I quoted it. Are you hinting that the fact that you got it for free makes you somehow able to make arguments based on envy as long as you are not their beneficiary and thereby make them in any way moral or logical? If so I am not buying it.
And you want to create equality not by giving people benifits that they deserve but by tearing down those who have received better. If this is equality then equality can hardly be good. It hurts some and helps none.
