disable nukes for AI/skirmish?

    I like the new game/features/expansion and all,
    but after all these patches and features, there is still no "no nukes" button (for the AI)?

    The no nuke/unit selector mods from PAMM didn't work for the AI, and the personalities mod didn't seem to help either, and as of yesterday they haven't been updated yet either

    I really enjoy analysing AI vs AI battles, or certain types of skirmish/co-op games
    but right now the flow of the game seems to be 1 directional,
    especially if I tweak the resource multipliers up: rush nukes and most of the time skip anti-nukes

    this leads to a very boring game for me

    Supreme Commander had a built in "Mod Manager"/"Unit Selector", so why the massive downgrade in customization for Singleplayer?
    has a different solution been found yet?

    I would love it if the AI would be forced to spend those resources elsewhere, like on the new Titans

    ohw wait, that was not a "it's going to be there soon(TM)"...
    damn it

    this has been requested for a long long time, but despite the huge surprise of Titans, I am not getting my hopes up...
    Not sure what Sorian is working on these days or who it would be that would have to implement this, but I'm guessing they would be taking a deserved vacation now

    The no nukes mod in PAMM should work for AI. It shadows the unit_list.json, which I'm pretty sure the AI uses too.

    @Sorian can probably answer this tomorrow.

    it's 6:45AM and I was planning to go to sleep
    booting PA now
    I'm using the coloured explosions/airtrails mods, but I hope those won't give a conflict

    yeah it's late, it should be in server_mods I assume?
    edit: tried it in the normal mods folder, the server_mods folder, added it to the jason config file
    in the end I think I'm too tired, but I tried 3 times and the AI built nukes
    I must be doing something wrong or I should disable the colour mods

    last try: I installed the old one through PAMM, then moved the new files into the old folder then I'm going to sleep

    edit: and we have nukes, I'll try again when I can figure out what I'm doing wrong
    sidenote: the stupidity of the AI sometimes: it didn't have anti nukes, it gets nuked once losing it's own nuke launcher, what does it rebuild first? another nuke launcher...

    I know it has been requested for a long time now, but other things were requested even more back then. Currently this is the most requested feature as far as I know ;)

    you mean like...4 separate unique sides with their own unique unit styles, like the Core and the Arm, or the Cybran and the Aeon? :O

    so you are saying we are getting unique factions soon instead of the ability to disable nukes, which should follow a week after the 4 factions patch?

    I'm sorry I haven't woken up yet

    on a brighter note, looks like he updated the "No Nukes" mod for PAMM, so I'll have another look if that works...

    edit: first game and I saw Unit Cannons and Artillery, no nukes, trying out 2nd game now

    hmmmm, this is odd, the AI should use the unit_list.json, which no longer contains nuke launchers or anti-nuke launchers in the mod.

    guess we got to wait for @Sorian
