In a shared PvP battle, I have had people rage-quit on me, deleting all commanders just because they lost their commander and foothold on a planet they started on. Why is this even a thing?!? Personally I believe only I should have the right to commit suicide... not my team mate who decided if he's going down everyone is. This ruins a great deal of shared multiplayer for me and is a non-mechanic in the game. (At what point is deleting someone else commander going to help... they little damage when they blow up anyway). Worse, I can see this as a reason people stop playing any team multiplayer and PA has enough trouble with getting new players as it is.
Yea this has been a problem since alpha. Just team up with people u know and avoid randoms at all cost.
If you're playing shared armies with randoms, that's a risk you take. If you're unwilling to take that risk, either join a clan to play with people you know or only play non-shared armies.
There should be some sort of full team confirmation for commander deleting. Like, each player needs to select the commanders and press delete within like 3 seconds of each other. If it works for nuclear missile silos, it'll work for this game.
