    There still seem to be instances where the AI will stop producing from its factories for no reason.

    This is a release candidate. Please test as much as possible and let us know if you see any issues.

    Bugfix/polish:
    Fix for the pause panel during ranked matches
    AI will be a little more precise when building recon satellites for other planets

    Known issue:
    Cannot change Commander in Galactic War.

    Got a server crash (server.exe stopped working) in an older GW save I resumed. I played one game, went smoothly, then took on the purple boss, and it crashed just as I was about to land, freezing right here:

    It did this twice in a row, exactly the same place.

    Crash as soon as the commander hits the ground is usually a server mod

    repeated with --nomods, exact same result

    I'm thinking this might be an issue with an older GW save (about a month or so), but I'm too lazy right now to start up another game and go all the way to the purple boss world.

    No showstopper, but if you drop only an asteroid belt in a system and hit save, the first asteroid is marked as a start planet. Changing any asteroid setting clears the start flag.

    No, it doesn't need one. There's some tests that require it and some that don't.

    Realized what a comment in PAChat means - the CSG palettes have been adversely affected by the consolidation of 'biome lists'; only the palette groups where planet-type-name = biome-name are shown, so ice, jungle, mountain etc are missing.

    (On the upside, custom planet types which meet the condition are scanned for CSGs, creating custom palettes. And yes, I also checked with nomods)

    Not sure I mentioned this to you before, but you can debug build items.

    Add "debug": true to a build item and it will output to the log any time that build item fails with the build condition that caused the failure. You can even change the build item while the game is running, assuming you run with a local server. I will look into it some more, but let me know if you find anything interesting.

    You will need AI logging enabled. Just add "--ai-log" to the command line for the server.

    @jables - I know that you are compiling a list of things to do to improve Ranked gaming involvement and the Ranked gaming community in general. That being the case, can you please add a way to see the entire list of players in each rank to the leaderboards? At the very least a simple scroll-able list of all players for each rank would be a big improvement (which I can't imagine would be very hard to add). A way to search for a player in the leaderboards would be good too. Adding an indication of each players' recent rank change would be interesting as well (something like +/- 10, or whatever the impact of their last game was on their rank). Also, can the current rank of each player be displayed before each ranked game starts, so you know who you are up against? I'm assuming that this is possible, because there is a mod that does it for non-ranked games. It would be nice to add that feature to vanilla for all games as well. An indication of what impact the ranked game had on your rank in the game summary page at the end would be very nice too.

    Currently, I find that I am personally very emotionally detached from ranked games due in part to the poor implementation of the leaderboards. Having no way to compare my performance to that of the players close to me in rank leaves me feeling a bit disconnected and uninspired to improve my standing. Plus not advertising all of the ranked players does nothing to build a sense of community amongst those involved with it. Doing some research on who else is playing ranked games and keeping an eye on their performance, or changes in standing in the leaderboards, has a lot to do with wanting to continue to be involved (at least for me).

    A career profile page with at least some simple general stats (Total Wins/Losses or Win/Loss Ratio, last game played date, replay link to last ranked game, total time played, avg. game length, a list of each ranked game played showing the opponents, the outcomes, and the impact of the game on their rank, etc.) for each player would be very cool as well.

    Lastly, can you adjust how inactive players are handled somehow? I am not sure what the best solution would be here, but I do know that going inactive after only 7 days of inactivity, and getting completely removed from the leaderboards, is a bit harsh. This has a negative impact on the appearance of community involvement in ranked games. This depresses the player counts dramatically and doesn't inspire people to want to play, because fewer players means less viable competition. Maybe keep the inactives in the list somehow to be included in the player totals, and also show their relative ranks? Instead of going inactive immediately, maybe institute some sort of rank penalty for inactivity? Without some sort of ranking penalty for inactivity, inactivity has little impact on player participation in ranked games.

    There might be an issue in GW using the artillery loadout. I keep getting the artillery card presented, but with this loadout I do not need it. Seems a bug to me.

    I would really not like to be forced into bronze just because I'm not in the mood for ranked or something like that.
