If this is stuff you can't answer, no problem. 1. Are there any plans on DLCs for this game? ( I would pay $60 for this game just for more game types) 2. Are any classes going to be nerfed/buffed any time soon?
We aren't talking about future plans as of yet. We are looking at the balance of all the classes on a regular basis. Having been only out for two days, it's hard to get a good gauge of what's strong and weak when everyone is still learning the ins and outs of MNC.
whats the reason why most devs don't talk about future plans, is it because of some embargo or is it not in stone yet? most times we know there is going to be another or more of something, like for example, did we really not know there was going to be a gears 3, a new halo game, or another bioshock, why does all that need to be secret? is it some marketing plot? im not against it or anything, im just really interested
Perfect example; we really didn't. Up until yesterday, everybody was sure Levine was working on an original IP.
We plan on supporting the game more. We just don't make announcements about specifics on the forum and there are plenty of reasons for this.
Things change often and for various reasons. So, making promises and then something changing and having to renege on those promises looks really bad.
It is nice to hear a company refrain from commiting to stuff rather than promising the world and falling short.
I learned this lesson a before Infinity Ward existed It's just too easy for comments we make about future stuff to be taken out of context or for people to imagine what things are like before we've even finished the work. It just causes disappointment on all sides to talk about things too early.
Yes. Often. Sometimes I like it by itself. Sometimes inside an omelette. But neither of those is as good as when it's wrapped around steak or scallops.
No more dystopic than our current world although I have to admit to a certain idiocracy element to the world
