Small pte build for a few hotfix issues we wanted to get in. Will be pushing this live tomorrow, so please take a look if you noticed any of the following issues in live. PTE Build 83028-pte - 6/15/15 Bugfix/Polish -Fix for unit selection breakdown displaying incorrectly -Player has the ability to get a random commander instead of a selected favorite -Changing server name does not unready players -Allow players to filter replays by type of game --The current filters are Multiplayer, Versus AI, and Galactic War -Fixed Galactic War to correctly handle using Chrono Cam to change the outcome of a battle -Fixed commanders in the armory not clearing their hover style -Fixed the Armory back button not showing up correctly
We still have the issue of very large replays not showing up or taking a long time to show up. We'll be continuing to work on that.
There's a replay from 6/15/2015 which has a duration of 103:40 - why is this replay showing and others aren't?
Tiny inconsequential nitpick: the new replay control has a label for="planets" that doesn't look right
Correct. Perhaps I didn't use enough diminutives. ;^) Less inconsequential, but likely not worthy of more development time: the default commander reset is extremely unintuitive. It's entirely possible I only found it because I was looking and I knew a button got conditionally switched from skimming the diffs. Probably a "random commander" tile would be best, but I'm not sure it's worth it for a pretty minor feature. Simpler solution would be to make the "reset default" a separate button that appeared when any default was set, instead of requiring the user to reselect their current default to discover it.
Add it to my wish list: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/release-build-82834-is-live.68993/page-2#post-1091378
It's really part of adding back the army composition to the games feed as shared (alliance) is a team (army) setting and not a game setting. From memory that info used to be in the games feed a long long time ago.
Correctly handled crediting win in "die and rewind" case, though I believe the game still stopped and needed another short rewind to get it going. This was before the game over screen appeared. Still issue with "kill one enemy of team, rewind a bit (not past death)" and game not ending. Also, there is some circumstance that makes the AI stop expanding all that much, possibly rewinding to just after landing. I think this is the only way I've won several Absurd GW rounds. This isn't new to the latest PTE.
