There are no green dots for the resource locations on the planet maps. Makes it really tough to find them close up. Shows up as grey squares from a distance. Also units are not being tagged. You have to visually look at them up close to know what type of unit they are.
Could you try pressing <Ctrl>+Y. That key combination toggles the visibility of features. Or check settings -> keyboard -> general. The shortcut is called Show/Hide Visual Aid Overlays.
I haven't tried the hot key yet but I have toggled that in settings. EDIT: Ok I tried the hot key and the settings thing again. Using the hot key actually toggled the light gray squares on and off. Settings toggled the light gray squares on and off.
Found out what the issue was. Complete Unit Roster mod was the culprit. No idea why that mod would interfere with Galactic War.
